From a young age she wanted to become a doctor. The only challenge being she also loved dance. Movement, expressing her emotions and inner self through modern dance, which she did professionally, became a large part of her life. While a dancer she was a Pilates instructor. Her career in dance came to an abrupt end in a car accident. Movement was no longer free flowing, an expression of the inner self. It was painful. With resilience, trust in her body’s healing capability and Pilates, she once again began moving pain free. It was now time to pursue her first love – medicine. Enjoy this conversation where we learn about the overlap of OMT and Pilates with student doctor Nicole Wong, DO.
