As brethren, we consider others better than ourselves. We regard others better than ourselves. Therefore, we celebrate their victories and stand with them in times of trials. Jesus demonstrated this to us, knowing that He was God, yet He laid it all down for our sake, endured suffering and despised shame, for we are the joy that was set before HIm.
We, therefore, become the expression of love to those around us, not seeking self-interest, but seeking the interest of others.
