The Father knows what your needs are before you make your supplications. Paul celebrates in the generosity of the Philippian church for their material support but desires for a fruit in them that remains. He understands that God's providence is unlimited, as revealed in 1 Kings 17.
Once you are taken care of, you are free to worship HIm. He is ready to take care of your needs, that you may worship HIm.
