Matthew 27:50-51, Jesus yielded up His spirit and the veil at the temple was violently torn from top to bottom. The earth quaked and rocks broke, the dead in Christ were resurrected and presented themselves in the holy city. This was the moment the old was finally done away with, and behold the new became. The Holy of Holies was revealed and access granted to the elect.
