James 1:5, If anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
King Solomon asked for wisdom, and God blessed him greatly, including riches and fame. His fame reached nations far and beyond. Unfortunately, the wisdom that he received as a blessing and his appetite for foreign women led to his downfall. Is it that he did not use his great wisdom to discern the end, or did he conveniently forget the instructions of the Lord concerning foreign interrelations?
Wisdom - no matter how great it is a blessing from God. but that wisdom is only beneficial if you acquire the wisdom to remain humble before the Lord, the absence of which the end is obvious.
