It was a lot of fun hearing about the cow families and evolution of Billy’s cattle taste over the years… I’m kidding, but seriously just to talk cows with two people I feel are exceptional evaluators and truly put in the effort at home behind the scenes was fun. Their success is not based on wishing upon a star, it is based on hard work and getting better. The Elmhirst love showing cows, but breeding them and selling them is how you pay the bills. Especially when the ones you have been selling are heating up the breed and really stirring up the generational interval.
