This episode of LunchTime word is coming out of the book of Luke 17: 1-10. When it comes to offenses we tend to feel justifiable to take revenge or avenge ourselves from wrongdoing. But the Word of God teaches us to forgive those that wrong us and that we can't avoid offenses. The word says offenses will come but "Woe unto whom they do come". This should be encouraging on our journey because we see the disciples asked the Lord to increase their faith. Jesus says to the disciples in Luke 17:6, "if you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree be pulled up by the roots and planted in the sea and it will obey". I learned that faith and forgiveness work together. It can be difficult to have someone sin against you seven times in a day but the word says to forgive him. It may seem impossible but Jesus Christ is saying that with mustard seed faith, it is possible to forgive. Be sure to read Luke 17 in your time of study and I pray it feeds your spirit man.
