My Grandmother lived a great life. She lived life with joy and love. She had disappointments, tragedies, shocking events, and more but, through all of that she overcame them all and trudged on through life. She always made you feel involved in whatever it was that she had you doing at the time. She loved us grandkids and really made life special. I remember her as a woman who loved her polkas and who loved to sow and socialize. The impact she made in my life was huge. I still have a hard time swallowing the fact that she's gone. Words can not describe how I miss her. I don't want to remember her as an old dying woman. That simply was not her. She was a woman who loved to sing, dance the polka and she loved making people laugh, smile, and always wanted to sing you a song or sing with you a song that you both might know. She was such an encourager and was such a brightspot in my life. It's so very different now that she's gone. I wanted to make this little tribute in her memory. I don't know when I will have the next episode out as things are crazy at this point in time.
