Anyway, enough of my sentimental thoughts.
Today we are taking a looksy at the Raddy RF 919.
This little radio comes from China and it does pretty much everything. VHF? Check.
UHF? Check.
CB? Check.
SSB? Check.
Airband? Check.
Weather? Check.
Shortwave? Check.
Medium and longwave?
Check.
VHF and UHF? Check.
So yeah. It does heaps of stuff.
I really like it.
It's not without its buggs though. This radio's keypad is really weird.
Basically the 1 is where the 7 is and the 8 and 9 follow suit.
so 7 8 and 9 are in place of where 1 2 and 3 should be while 6 5 4 and 0 are fine.
Crazy rite?
But, that all a side, it's a wonderful little radio.
I would recommend it to anybody who doesn't mind experimenting and who doesn't mind bugs on their radios.
