Let’s be real
Luke 21:19
King James Version
19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
When a man is born again he doesn’t have the same ability to overcome extreme adversity it is thinking or reasoning for a little while as he did before.
We have to identify ourselves with Christ, in order to form the mind of Christ.
“ acquire your soul with patience.”
Many of us prefer to stay at the beginners level of the Christian life instead of going on to build a soul in agreement with the new life God has put in us.
We fail because we are uneducated about the way we are made, we blame the devil instead of our lack of discipline.
Think what we can be when we are sharp and aware!
There are certain things that we don’t really need to pray about for example moods.
Moods never go away just by praying, moods go by action. Action cures all elements and procrastination is fertilizer for fear.
A mood almost always has its seat in the physical condition not in the moral.
It is constant work not to listen to the moods and attitudes that arise for my physical condition, never submit to them for a second.
The President of the Bible college I went to Dr. Brown PhD iin philosophy taught us the “to” rule it’s simple you never make any decisions when you’re “to” anything.
Too hungry too tired too angry to excited to sad to happy too emotional
He taught me to make the decision to simply never make a decision if I am to anything Wait until you are not ________ to decide.
In the famous words of Taylor Swift we’ve got to shake it off, and what will find is that we can do what we said we could not do.
The amazing things that people can do when they don’t know they can’t.
The curse with most of us is that we just won’t.
The Christian life.... while living in the flesh we choose to be spiritually sharp and aware.
