Monday September 15, 2025XIV After Pentecost ---📖 Today’s readings remind us of God’s sovereignty, His assurance, and the call to bear fruit. In 2 Samuel 17–18, David faces the heartbreak of battle against his own son Absalom, showing the painful consequences of rebellion. In Acts 23, Paul stands before the council, and in the midst of chaos, the Lord appears to him with the promise: *“Take courage.”* And in Mark 11, Jesus curses the fruitless fig tree and calls His disciples to a life of prayer, faith, and forgiveness.✨ Even in the midst of conflict and hardship, God strengthens His people and calls us to fruitful faith that reflects His kingdom.
