Tuesday February 10, 2026V Week After Epiphany 📖 Today’s Readings:Genesis 26:1–33Hebrews 13:17–26John 7:53–8:11---In Genesis 26, Isaac re-digs the wells his father once dug. Each time, conflict follows. Instead of fighting, he moves and digs again—until finally there is room. “Now the Lord has given us room and we will flourish in the land.” (Gen. 26:22)Hebrews 13 reminds us that leaders watch over our souls. They are often quiet well-diggers, clearing away what clogs spiritual life so living water can flow. Our response should make their work a joy.In John 8, a crowd gathers with stones in hand. Jesus stoops, writes in the dirt, and one by one the stones fall. He makes room for grace where others wanted to fight for judgment.Isaac digs.Leaders watch.Jesus stoops. All three show the same posture: make room for life instead of fighting for territory.
