Shalom! Welcome to episode 26 of Overcoming Daily with Anna Johnson.
Today's overcomer tidbit is this: the overcomer seeks the spiritual gifts. When you seek God, do you seek kingdom things? Do you seek spiritual things? Honestly, it's not our default to seek spiritual things. We often have a tendency to seek the physical things.
Take a moment and inventory the things that you pray about. Are you praying about your finances? Are you praying about your relationships? Are you praying about your feelings? Are you praying about work, maybe? Are you praying about physical situations?
Now, let me ask you this question... Are you praying and asking God for more wisdom? The ability to discern things? Are you asking for the spiritual gifts? And if you are, why are you asking for those spiritual gifts?
The gifts are there for the body of Messiah. It is for us to serve one another and to glorify God in our lives and to assist us on our journey here on earth, until we are in the presence of Christ himself.
