Join us as this week, Paul interviews Laurie Ann Salmi, Region 12 Director & Donna Hentges, President of the Minnesota Arabian Horse Breeders as they discuss their unique approaches to building events that have drawn both larger groups of Exhibitors and audiences to their shows: The Minnesota Fall Fest, held in the Fall at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, and the Region 12 show as well as the Keystone Experience.
Both host popular futurities, the Minnesota Medallion and Spotlight programs. Each share how they built their respective clubs and how they adapted and changed thanks to the changes forced on them by the changing Post-Covid landscape. They also talk through some of their best practices as leaders within their organization that could be useful for both Show Committees and clubs looking to grow and take advantage of the magnetic power of the Arabian horse.
