It begins today, our STEAM WEEK where nine teams of faculty and students begin their work on their Rube Goldberg projects.
This morning there is an orientation about Rube Goldberg, and six simple machines. Each team will have a five-step build activity. Since this is the first time the team’s taken shape, there will be an element of team-building among each team in this activity.
After lunch, each team will set out to begin the challenge and facilitate the drafting of a plan. the plan may be electronic or on paper or any other medium, but it must present the ideas of the group so that everyone has the same shared understanding and can present to our roving experts on Tuesday for feedback.
