Report on the LIS Championship Game:
Our team got the early lead one zero in the very first inning. It was a thriller game with the Scotties and then tight Titans battling each inning. The game lasted all the way until the ninth inning when Gracie Byrd hit a home run over the right-field fence to seal the deal. For the walk-off win for the Scotties, we won the LIS championship. What a game. And those were the sounds of Gracy's home run in the team celebration that home plate. We caught up with Gracie and asked her about her last bet. in extra innings. The tension was high for the fans. Can you describe from your vantage point as a player? Talk about the Trinity Episcopal team? How does this championship get you ready for the state playoffs next week? So our shortstop Jaden was injured and when she was injured. Can you speak about that? And finally, we spoke briefly with Jaden who hit a home run in the first inning and made a clutch double-play to close the top of the knife. Jaden Can you describe the game? Can you describe what happened to you out there and how you got injured? Now at the moment when your teeth were flying out of your mouth, did you think you were out of the game? So as Jaden heads off to the dentist, the team will begin to prepare for the state playoffs next Tuesday. On Saturday night This video will premiere the LIS championship game on its Youtube channel. We will share links on all our social media accounts. Again, congrats to both the Scotties and the Trinity team for an exciting and well-played game.
