It’s been a great thanksgiving break, and we're all back preparing for upcoming exams and tests. On a past Sisters’ pride episode, we talked about the nagging question that every high-schooler ponders about at some point in their academic career and that is: What makes a good student. We talked to some girl’s on campus and had great input from them. But as we continue this process of understanding how to thrive in an academic environment, I came to a conclusion that my education is a partnership. It is not solely in the hands of the student, as we work with teachers every day. So in today’s episode I wanted to ask the same question but in reference to teachers. What makes a good teacher?
Everyone has experienced a bad teacher and a good teacher. It takes one person to utilize a student’s interest and turn that into passions and a career path, as well as cultivating a love for school.
