Description

On the River today low tide will be at 7:27 a.m. and high tide at 12:55 p.m. low tide will return at 7:30 p.m. the sun will rise at 6:56 a.m. and set at 7:03 p.m. it will be a waning crescent moon with only a 7% illumination.   Today there will be a gale warning in effect through the morning as well as a small craft advisory it will go into this evening.  The high will be 67 degrees with mostly clear skies but there will be a great deal of wind today.

Two days a week, 10 girls join our coach from William and Mary to learn how to row a 65 ft crew shell.  The club will soon become a team as the shells will be moved to our new floating dock in the coming week. From the dawn skies of the Rapphannock, we share some of the sounds from the river's edge
