John G. Scrugs is a well known (by those who know him) farmer and current owner of the Scrugs almond milking business. Born in southeast Nowhere Oklahoma, John grew up around almond and almond milk, as his family had been in the business for many years after the entire town became lactose intolerant in 1869. He attended the world renowned agriculture university Verts à Collier in Paris, Idaho, where he learned to perfect his natural farming talent and refine his almond milking skills. After graduating with a major in Prunus dulcis applied sciences, he quickly began working in his family's business and eventually took it over, making it the giant of a company it is today, with locations all across the midwest. He currently lives in the center of his home town of Nowhere Oklahoma, with his wife, Bequeath, and 6 kids, Almond, Almond Milk, Almond Butter, Almond Oil, Almond Flour and Roasted Almond.
