As a rebellious youth, Austin Nicholas was kicked out of numerous schools, which resulted in him being sent to multiple boarding schools, wilderness therapy programs, and finally ended him up in an evangelical military school in Bonifay, Florida. Thanks to the clarifying presence of the outdoors in his life, he is now a husband, father, ultramarathon runner, big game hunter, and outdoor education enthusiast.
