“Shaman, Woman and The Rooster” written by young Jon Pebi Tato is a surreal piece in itself that will take you to your childhood when your parents used to tell you bedtime stories and you’d sleep in their laps. Those were the simpler times.
The book, a rather short one with just 41 pages, takes you on a roller coaster ride keeping it subtle yet dramatic throughout the story. It takes you on a memory lane as the author tries to mould his childhood into this short folk story of the Tibetian region. It's a quick read with a gripping plot and intriguing character names.
