Today Judy and I get into the final C of our "5 Cs of Legacy Writing" series--CRAFT.
In our conversation, we talk about finding and telling interesting stories and whether or not you should worry about using "proper English" when you record your thoughts and ideas. So many people have hangups about grammar, spelling, and punctuation. But we want to encourage you not to let these details silence your voice.
Then, later in the discussion about craft, we get into "voice" specifically. We want to use "voice" in our legacy writing. The way our personality comes through on the page is especially important since you are telling a true story. It is your unique point of view that needs to shine through.
