In this episode of Motorsport 411,

As a build up to the WRC Safari Rally 2022, we have started a limited podcast series, focusing on this iconic event that will be held from 23rd-26th June.

We go down memory lane and speak to 2 Rally Legends who have made history in the world of motorsport.

We first interview George Mwangi, a second generation Rally legend, who navigated Azar Anwar to the historic Safari Rally victory in 2006. This was a dream come true, having  grown up watching his father Mr. John Wairegi tackle Motorsport back in the 60's. Inspired by his father, George went down to the history books as the first and only indigenous Kenyan to have won the Safari Rally.

Finally we speak to Azar Anwar a.k.a. Mzee wa Kazi. He has appeared in 23 Safari Rallies, more than any other driver to date. He is a 3 time Kenyan National Rally Champion and 2008 Motorsport Personality of the year. He shares priceless highlights of his career.
