Primatologist, anthropologist, scientist, author, advocate, philanthropist, and conservationist.

“You can’t solve the world’s problems, so don’t try. Instead, focus on what you can do each day to leave this place a little better than you found it. We have a window of time to change this planet’s course, but it’s rapidly closing.”

“The least I can do is speak out for those who cannot speak for themselves.”

Born in April 1934 in Hampstead, London to a race car driver and an author.  When she was a child, she was given a toy by her father that sparked her interest in animals.
