Description

We're back for a brand new episode!

This week the femmes are getting into the psychology behind procrastination. This is a tough topic, because it's not as easy as saying, "I'm lazy." There's often more to the topic of procrastination than the surface value we might tend to look at.

Mindy and Andrea get right into this topic by taking a procrastination quiz.

Now, while this is a bit dated, it might give you a good jumping off point to gauge your own procrastination tendencies.

The femmes also brush on the topic of the overwhelming influence of screen time and what it truly means to be bored. We live in a world where we are constantly bombarded with distractions, anything to avoid the stillness of the mind. But maybe we need to change the way we engage in our distractions and let ourselves breath.

We think that we need those distractions, but perhaps what we're doing is ignoring a bigger problem. It's as if these other things we've allowed into our lives are holding us captive and we have to fight through the noise and attempt to deprogram ourselves. This is no simple task, but perhaps we can get there.

In this episode, Mindy and Andrea take a deep dive into their own procrastination tendencies, and even admit how difficult it is to break those habits and create new ones while also being aware of the dangers in labeling ourselves as procrastinators, which could result in a self-fulfilling prophesy.
