O dia mundial da água foi criado pelas Nações Unidas em 1992. O objetivo é alertar o mundo sobre a importância de preservar essa fonte de vida. O "Música do Dia" traz a voz de Maria Bethânia, cantando "Purificai o Subaé", para lembrar a data.
