In this episode Sátin Marché brings awareness to the lack of acknowledgment about the 9 realms of well being amongst birth workers, activists, activators, and others alike. While there seems to be such emphasis on 'Black' Maternal Mental Health, there are other realms of well being beyond mental health, that affects all wombmen, such as mental, emotional, physical, environmental, nutritional, social, intellectual, financial. All of these realms are crucial to the spiritualrealm on a larger scale.
While Sátin analyzes the 9 realms of well being, she also examines the 4 trimesters as it relates to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum:
Trimester 1: Plant the Seed
Trimester 2: Carry the Seed
Trimester 3: Birth the Seed
Trimester 4: Nurture the Seed
Sátin's intention is to sustain (her) birth work; sharing the knowledge & wisdom that she has acquired along the path of doing so, trusting that WE will take accountability for better reproductive outcomes.
