Description

Rob McNurlin is the last of the Beatnik Cowboys; a true country and folk troubadour like his mentor Ramblin' Jack Elliott, and friend Marty Stuart. He has self-released all of his albums of which a couple were produced by Marty Stuart's guitar player Kenny Vaughan and played on by the Fabulous Superlatives. Nathan talks to Rob about these connections to music legends, growing up listening to Bob Dylan, and Johnny Cash, and what it was like recording an album in Cash's cabin recording studio. Rob also performs a handful of songs on the show. You can see him live at this year's Huntington Music & Arts Festival.
