Think of Jesus for a moment. The person of Jesus. What adjective best describes Him?
What about ‘weird’ or ‘odd’ or ‘strange’ or ‘peculiar’…?
For many he was exactly that: beyond comprehension with his supernatural abilities and counter-cultural teachings. So much so, that his own friends at some point thought he must be losing the plot. When Jesus’ WAYS became incomprehensible they sent word to his family to intervene by taking him away (probably wanted him to be checked out by a psychiatrist of sorts!)… can you imagine that? Don’t believe me?
