“Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again,but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4
This week, we look at yet another conversation Jesus had with an unlikely character. A Samaritan woman at a well. What Jesus does is quite remarkable. He breaks social norms to restore this woman's dignity and worth by simply speaking to her. And then, he shares with her the words that lead to eternal life.
How does she respond? With openness. She's changed and transformed - so much so, that she's compelled to spread the Good News of salvation to her entire village!
