Do not underestimate the time commitment to become a CFP pro!

In the first episode of series 10 of #YourFinancialPlanningMaestro podcast we talk to Laura Ripley, Financial Planner at BRI Wealth Management, about her journey to become a CFP professional.

We talk about the importance of:

1. Planning out your time

2. Not underestimating how much time it will take you

3. Not leaving it until the last minute to start – you’ve just got you start somewhere!

4. Obtaining support along the way.  Professional support will make a huge difference but don’t forget about family and friends.

5. Identifying the hurdles in the financial plan creation process

6. Knowing that it’s ok and natural to feel emotional at times – it is all part of the journey of self-improvement.

Congratulations on passing on your first submission Laura and thank you for being open and honest about the ups and downs of your journey.
