#Willow is a 1988 American dark fantasy adventure film directed by Ron Howard and produced by Nigel Wooll.
The film was executive produced by #GeorgeLucas and written by Bob Dolman from a story by Lucas. The film stars Warwick Davis, Val Kilmer, Joanne Whalley, Jean Marsh, and Billy Barty.
It tells the story of Willow Ufgood, a Nelwyn farmer who reluctantly finds himself drawn into a mission to save Elora Danan, a baby princess who has been prophesied to bring about the downfall of Bavmorda, the evil queen who wishes to destroy her.
A television series that will serve as a sequel to the film is scheduled to be released on Disney+
