Welcome to Episode 133 - Life as a Trans Man with Carlos Munez

Imagine being born into a body that didn’t feel right. On the outside, your adopted mother called you her “Incan princess”, but on the inside you were a boy wanting to become a man. This was the experience of Carlos Munez. 

Carlos was born in Peru, and moved to the UK after being adopted. This in itself can raise significant questions about one’s place in the world, and for Carlos this was amplified by questions about his gender identity too. Carlos joins me to get mindful about life as a trans man; from questioning his identity, to coming out, transitioning and now life as a husband and father.
