Description

When you have a special guest that has just been named as the ' biggest music star in the city of Glasgow' - it's important that a) the podcast team are on top form and b) the technology behaves.

The team were on top form, so no problems there. However, it's fair to say we had one or two technical glitches, that included Lisa getting some ' in running' technical support from Mr Lisa. ( who is becoming a semi-regular participant in the podcast!)

Our guest was our friend the Scottish singer, songwriter Grahame Skinner. Anyone who knows Grahame will tell you that he is a lovely guy who knows his music, and doesn't suffer fools - and Grahame demonstrated all 3 of these characteristics during our podcast. And thankfully, his video connection just about held out until 10 seconds before we stopped recording.

Back to the music. We reviewed albums from Pink Floyd, James Brown, Jimi Hendrix, Chuck Berry, and David Bowie. Grahame is a huge Bowie fan, and was very surprised to hear that the panel might not share his level of affection! We also had our much repeated debate about compilation records/are they an album?

We ended up voting 3 more albums onto the 100 list. We have now reached the halfway mark having reviewed 50 albums, and we have voted 60% of the albums reviewed onto the list. Just got 70 to still agree on then.....

Big thanks to Grahame for taking the time to join us, and of course remind us all how great Bowie actually is!

Enjoy, and stay safe.
