Today, the amount of debt people have for Healthcare is astounding. But the kind that isn’t really brought up much is Pet Healthcare. 60-70% of Americans own pets. And we all know someone with more than one. In the last decade, the prices for service to animals has risen about 30% and Vet Care in general about 60%.
Your Hosts caught an episode of NYT’s The Daily that spoke about this. It talks about the struggles being faced today by pet owners. About the change in who runs Veterinary Facilities, from animal loving doctors to profit driven corporations. It talks about the rise in cost of basics services. It mentions these Pet Credit Cards that sound like they target certain pet owners. And they talk about the people and how pet owners are taking second jobs to pay for their Pet’s care.
People look at their Pets like part of their Family. And like any one of your kids, your probably don’t even think about the cost. Just get the treatment! You wouldn’t be alone in that sentiment.

But anyways, you tells us!
⁃    Do you have a Pet Care Story like the ones they spoke about?
