Odds and Ends: One of us is better at keeping their old video games nice than the other, who believes in the karmic justice of lending things to friends and never getting them back; Nick watched The Santa Claus, and a Bob’s Burgers Christmas special… because it’s still definitely the Christmas season; he also saw Klaus, but T.J. does most of the talking about that one.
Feature Film: Joshua Oppenheimer’s The Act of Killing, a documentary that is at times frustrating, hilarious, and horrifying, but is at all times insane. The anti “Emperor’s Naked Army,” it follows a few perpetrators of the mass executions that occurred in Indonesia some decades ago. Some are remorseful, some are definitely not, and one is straight spitting. Still a huge piece of shit… but he ain’t wrong. Not about the killing. It’s something else.. Just listen to the episode.
