Some would think the phrase " Don't come for me" is a negative connotation towards a particular individual or a confrontational gesture to display to others that you are not nothing to play with,, you' re not a joke, or ' Don't start nothing, won't be nothing' type of situation. All three opinions have some truth to "Don't Come for me", but the point is that some personalities like this more than usually live their lives making sure that whom ever trys to make a connection with them that they know " not to come for them". This narrative created holds these people back from excelling because of the confrontational spirit. Some people are in the "in crowd, popular circles, or just need attention." "Don't come for me" is more of an internal reflection stating to the audience that I'm not the person that you're looking for, once the individual gets to know me,, they will find that time has been wasted because of a nonreciprocated energy; however; minah wanted to be among the popular ones, she thought being apart of the " incrowd" would give her "juice or leverage in getting others to "like or accept her", she wanted to feel important. We should connect to our purpose to avoid trying to convince others that we're nothing to play with. Your truth will work for you when you become content with who you are.
