With our Football Correspondent Billy Carr as guest thisweek, we kick off Episode 190 discussing Newcastle’s League Cup win, giving the Magpies their first domestic trophy since 1955, thanks to their fantastic 2-1 win over Liverpool at Wembley.

Rugby’s Six Nations had a fantastic finale with Italyrunning Ireland close, England putting 68 points on Wales and France securing the title with a win over Scotland in Paris.

The reformatted Netball Super League got underway, with new sides Birmingham Panthers and Nottingham Forest in action – and it was Panthers’ Betsy Creak who made history with the Super League’s first ever two goal supershot after that was introduced for this season.

In The Players’ Golf Championship at Sawgrass, Rory McIlroyovercame terrible weather and fading light as well as the rest of the field to secure the title – as play continued into Monday and St Patrick’s Day to give the Northern Irish man the win. Meanwhile Britain’s Jack Draper won his first ATP Tennis Masters Trophy, beating Holger Rune in the Indian Wells final – a result that takes him into the World Top 10 for the first time in his career.

Billy Carr then looks back at the League Cup Final, as wellas taking us through what could come in the final 9 games of the Premier League season, the hopes of the remaining English sides in the final stages of European competition, and answers -and asks – questions about Thomas Tuchel’s first squad as the new England manager.
