Dr. Rodrigo Gerardo is a graduate of Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine with a concentration in Global Health. He went on to complete his General Surgery residency at Wright State University as well. Currently, Dr. Gerardo is a research fellow at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center where he films and edits pediatric surgical education material. We invited Dr. Gerardo to share the journey that got him to where he is today and valuable advice for a career in medicine.
