This week’s podcast episode is all about C’s - councils, copycats and clients (not what you first though huh!). It is an episode I felt compelled to record as everything was happening, to share not only how it felt but how I came out the other side.

It is a real-life look at what can happen when you grow a landscaping (or any other kind of) business and I am sharing 4 tips on how to move past a less than great situation.

1. Allow all the feelings - sounds very ‘woo’ but rather than bottling up the feelings, just notice and allow them to flow. Remember emotions is just energy in motion and it needs to be let out
2. Do something that makes you feel good and gets you out of the funk. For example; gym, walking, listen to motivational music, podcast, read a book, journal, swim etc etc. The list goes on.
3. Re-framing - re-frame the situations. How is this situation good for me? What are the lessons I can take from this? Why was this really a good thing to happen? Remember often the situation arising isn’t about you it’s about them.
4. Gratitude. Practice gratitude around the positives and your life in general. It is amazing what a daily practice of gratitude can do for you and your business
