Today’s episode, Brittany takes us through the 1998 slaying of James Byrd, Jr. On the night of June 7th, James was walking home from a party when he accepted a ride from three white men. He was killed in what is better known as a modern day lynching. We discuss the life and tragic ending of James Byrd, Jr. and the changes his death made.
