Lt Governor Billy Nungesser kicks off the show with an announcement on the latest markers that are already, or soon to be, recognized on the Louisiana Civil Rights Trail and are set to receive national attention as part of the U.S. Civil Rights Trail. He also provides an update on the latest museum partnership. Friends of the show Tremaine Knighten Riley and Leona Tate of the "McDonogh Three” are in the studio to discuss the Tate, Etienne, Prevost (TEP) Centerhistorical campus and the rise and rebirth of HBCUs across the country.
