Episode three of Castle Hill Cricket Chat offers an introduction to our two regular contributors; seasoned umpire Andrew Crawshaw and the league’s record scoring batsman Steve Whitwam.
We had a great chat to get our podcast ball rolling on the eve of what is hoped to be our first competitive season since 2019. After some cursory background checks on both of our illustrious guests we entered an enjoyable discussion, reflecting on the upheaval of last year in life and in cricket as well as how preparations have progressed ahead of when the action starts in a week's time. We also ran our eye over the glut of recent transfers as clubs scramble as best they can to put together a winning team.
