It’s the eve of the flagship final. The 103rd Sykes Cup reaches its climax on Sunday. We invited two guests, one from each finalist to come on and share their thoughts ahead of the big day.

Siraj Sajid, one of Moorlands longest serving players joined us to talk about his team’s chances of collecting the trophy for the third year in a row. Their domination this season sees them go into the tie against Broad Oak as warm favourites. However Oak’s Dom Finn, in his ninth season with the club reflected on what is a huge occasion for them and how they stack up going into it.

Our regular contributors Steve Whitwam and Andrew Crawshaw also gave us their thoughts on a mouthwatering final. It’s a nice amuse bouche ahead of Sunday’s big day, held at Armitage Bridge for the first time ever. Enjoy!
