Description

In Exodus 16:13-21 God invites the Israelites to recognize Him as their Provider and the One in whom they can depend.  Dependence doesn't mean laziness, as children of God the expectation is and His desire is that we would cooperate with Him.  Jodi moves through each verse of this passage sharing along the way how God worked in her own life in a similar way revealing to her how she has a tendency to control, do things her way, and every time she will become burdened.  Other scriptural passages referenced in this episode include Matthew 6:25-34, Exodus 16:31 and 1 Corinthians 4:7.

And Jesus answered, “O faithless and twisted generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him here to me.” And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him, and the boy was healed instantly. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:17-20 (ESV)
