Season 4 Episode 1 ~ Intimacy in the Wilderness ~ Laying the Foundation
In episode 1, Jodi begins to lay the foundation of season 4 by focusing on the words intimacy and wilderness. Intimacy is about trust, it's more than knowledge and it's not something we create. Wilderness is a land or region that is uncultivated and uninhabited. It's a place of separation, preparation, revelation, and awakening. The wilderness cultivates our faith, dependence, and trust....AKA intimacy. The scriptures used in this episode are Acts 17:28, Psalm 131:1-2, Matthew 4:1-3, Matthew 14:23, Luke 5:16, Mark 1:35, Mark 6:31
And Jesus answered, “O faithless and twisted generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him here to me.” And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him, and the boy was healed instantly. Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” He said to them, “Because of your little faith.
