In this episode I had the honour of Karlina Tongotea joining me. She’s a powerlifter and not only that she’s a world record holder for the 76kg weight class and she’ll be representing New Zealand at Sheffields and the World Champs this year.
In our chat we focus a lot on the broader impact that competing at such a high level can have on your life. As well as that Karlina shares some practical advice for those of you who are wanting to get into powerlifting and then also how she uses the tool of mindfulness to help cope with the different emotions that come with the sport of powerlifting.
