This first episode is one that I will be proud of, as the guests are individuals you would not expect to be interviewed. My guests are referee's wives. Being in the referee ministry,I have seen referees get damaged by the stream of insults they receive from the coach, players and even supporters. I hear the pain when they tell me about it. I figured wives would feel bad, too. But i was surprised to know that they know better. They know that it does not matter if the referees follow the rules or if their husbands are just, there is always someone who claims that the referees are biased. They see the pain... and they value the work that their husbands do.

How do Basketball Referees appear in the eyes of their wives?

A famous quote says, "Behind every successful man is a woman." So how strong does a basketball referee's wife have to be to put up with what her husband is experiencing on the court?

Have you ever wondered how the referees feel about each match they officiate? How about their families, especially their wives? Have you ever thought about how they feel whenever their guy gets into trouble over a rough game on the court? let alone the death threats.

With this in mind, let us hear what spouses have to say about the many situations their husbands have encountered. All of them agree that "their husbands do everything out of love and passion for the family, and that's all that matters."

Meet Ms. Ann Mariano, wife of PBA referee Jimmy Mariano; Rosemarie Santos, wife of FIBA referee Harry Santos; and Joselyn Baldago, wife of PBA referee Joel Baldago. These three empowered individuals make silent contributions to advancing their husbands' careers in officiating. Though invisible to everyone, we can ensure that their wisdom and encouragement help society while their husbands contribute to the game of basketball.

In this special episode, we'll learn more about the life of the umpire's wife, who has to deal with all of the difficulties and inconveniences that come with being a referee's wife. These three will enlighten us on what a referee wife has to do and offer to sustain her husband's passion for the field he has chosen.
