On Aug. 24, 1951, 10-year-old Beverly Potts and her friend get permission to attend a talent show in their neighborhood park in Cleveland, OH only a few minutes from home. No one suspects that this will be the last time they’d see Beverly before she seemingly vanishes into thin air; and now, no trace of Beverly has ever been found.
And this year, near the 70th anniversary of Potts missing date, we’re going to dive back into the case that shook Cleveland and became the city’s first well-known missing-child case, where detectives and locals alike continue to ask, what happened to Beverly Potts that night in 1951 and can we still find answers?
