An alien spacecraft along with its extraterrestrial pilot apparently crashed in the small Texas town of Aurora in April 1897. It should have been the biggest story of all time, but the reporter - along with others - failed to give the event the coverage it demanded. Also, other alleged UFO crashes that occurred before the 1947 Roswell event are discussed.
